Non-Medical Support for Families on Hospice
Extra help at home, alongside your hospice team.
Hospice teams provide medical and comfort care, but they are not with your loved one all day. Better Choice Care caregivers can fill in the hours between hospice visits with non-medical help, company, and a break for the family.

When a loved one is on hospice at home, families often take on long hours of care. Our caregivers can help with personal care, meals, light housework, and simply being present, so your family can rest, sleep, or spend time together.
We work alongside the hospice team. The hospice nurse and doctor stay in charge of medical care, pain management, and medications.
Our Caregivers Can Help With:
- Bathing, grooming, and changing clothes
- Light meals and fluids, as the care plan allows
- Repositioning and comfort, as directed by the plan
- Companionship and quiet company
- Light housework and laundry
- Time off for the family caregiver
Hospice Care Stays With Hospice
Better Choice Care is a licensed non-medical home care agency. Our caregivers do not give medications, manage pain, or provide nursing care. If something changes, the caregiver contacts the family and follows the plan your family and hospice team have in place.
Our visits are scheduled daytime visits. We do not offer overnight, 24-hour, or live-in care.
