My mother lives with us. Can a caregiver help while we are at work?
Yes. This is one of the most common arrangements we set up. The service plan covers your mother’s non-medical routine during the scheduled hours, such as meals, personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping related to her needs.
Will the caregiver also watch our children or clean the whole house?
No. Caregivers are there for the client. Childcare and general housekeeping for the rest of the household are outside the service plan.
